And just like that we are once again taking down our Christmas decorations after another fantastic year. We always decorate the barns with some light decorations and a real tree. We are lucky we have a wonderful local supplier of real bushy fragrant Christmas trees that bring the whole season alive for everyone inside the Barns.

The Southdown’s National Park is a wonderful place for family’s to spend some quality time to together, we have been grateful that many of these families have chosen to stay here at Pitlands Barns, enjoying all that our area has to offer. We have been overwhelmed by the amazing reviews and comments left by our wonderful guests and I just have to share this one from a lovely family that stayed over Christmas.

I just wanted to say a big thank you from all of my family for such fabulous accommodation. It was so perfect for us, and I love it that each bedroom has it's own en suite.

Usually, breakfast time is tricky as people drift in and out at different times wanting different things to eat, and the tea/coffee thing is endless whilst the cooks for the family want them out of the way! So we asked them to do their own breakfasts in the cottages to save all the hassle. Perfect.

The barn is beautiful and so well done, and the sitting and dining area is so spacious it never felt crowded.

My family thought that is was one of our best Christmases, so thank you again, and also for the bubbly and chocolates.
