Booking Conditions:
- A booking for self-catering accommodation at Pitlands Barns is accepted subject to availability and on receipt of the 30% deposit.
- Payment can be made online (by credit card or Paypal), by BACS or cheque.
- Cheques should be made payable to Pitlands Barns
- An email will be sent confirming the booking and details.
- Phone reservations will be confirmed by e-mail.
- The weekly price is inclusive of electricity, central heating and provision of linen, bath and hand-towels. Guests must bring their own beach/swimming towels.
- The balance of the rental fee must be paid 4 weeks before date of arrival. Non-payment of the balance by the due date shall be construed as a cancellation by the Client. We do not issue reminders as the date the balance is due is clearly stated in our confirmation of booking e-mail or letter.
- A cancellation must be advised by e-mail or letter as soon as possible, and every effort will be made to re-let the property.
- Please note: The deposit is non- refundable but we will refund the balance only if we have been able to re-let the property. We do strongly recommend you that you take out your own holiday insurance.
- All bookings are from 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure.
- We regret that we must ask you to report as soon as possible, and pay for any damage or breakages in your property during your stay. Accidental damage or breakages of a minor nature will not normally be charged.
- A cot and high chair is available for the duration of your stay. Please note that cot linen is not supplied and you must bring this with you.
- The use of the sofa bed is charged at £50 per week or £20 a weekend and includes the provision of linen.
- Smoking and/or Vaping are not permitted in Pitlands Barns.
- No pets shall be brought to Pitlands Barns without prior permission of the Proprietor (a charge of £20 per booking per dog applies).
- The furniture, fittings and effects in or around the property must be left in the same state of repair and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning of the rental.
- Whilst every care is taken to ensure that our website details and brochure are correct, the proprietors cannot be held liable for any changes or alterations made. The proprietors are relieved of any liability from accidents to guests and any loss or damage to property.
- It is the intention of the proprietors that Pitlands Barns self-catering accommodation provides a relaxing holiday environment.
- The proprietors reserve the right to decline accommodation.
- The proprietors are entitled to reasonable access to Pitlands Barns.
- The number of guests occupying any property at Pitlands Barns must not exceed the maximum number of bed spaces (The Stables 4, The Granary 6, The Cart Shed 4, plus cots) as stated on our website unless agreed beforehand with the proprietors.
- Wi-Fi internet access is available free of charge to guests on the condition that it is not used to view/download from sites that have illegal content or images.
- Any complaints should be made immediately or as soon as reasonably possible and in any case before departure; to the proprietor to give every chance to rectify the situation.
- When booking online completion of the booking form states that you agree with these terms and conditions. When booking by e-mail, by paying the deposit you are agreeing with the terms and conditions attached with the e-mail.
